Hi Ben,
Of course we still make chocolate here! We’ve had to move some products to Australia so we could invest over $69 million into our Dunedin factory to turn it into a specialist factory. This has secured over 500 Kiwi jobs, and safeguarded the factory’s future. Just as some products have moved over to Australia for production, some products that were previously made in Australia are now made in NZ. On top of this, the chocolate ‘crumb’ – which is the base ingredient for our chocolate blocks, is also made in NZ from fresh, full cream Kiwi milk.

Glad to hear we’ve got you intrigued. Our Cadbury Dairy Milk milk chocolate became officially Fairtrade Certified in April this year. It’s something we’ve been working on for quite some time now, in conjunction with our Cadbury Cocoa Partnership.

Hi Alice, There are still limited stocks of Bourn-vita available for purchase in New Zealand however we stopped making the product in September last year. Bourn-vita was deleted because of declining sales over a number of years and an overall increased demand for flavoured drinking chocolate in New Zealand and as a result, our Cadbury mint and caramel flavoured drinking chocolate are selling very well whilst Bourn-vita continued to decline.

Glad you like our Pineapple Lumps! We have different products for different countries, so at this stage the only way you’ll be able to enjoy Pineapple Lumps will be to come visit us in NZ again or get your daughter to send them to you.

My daughter is going to school in Auckland. When we came over to visit among the million of things she said “try these”. I looked at the packaged and thought your kidding chocolate covered pineapples? Oh my they are good. Now if I could just find them in the states!

I really miss bournvita too. It had a much better taste than Milo. I hadn’t realised that Cadbury wasn’t making it anymore. I do hope they may reconsider.

I got sent 6 packets of curly wurly’s from the UK which is a cadubury product and they were yum. Is there any reason why you dont have this product here?
